Win It!

See yesterday's blog to learn all about what an essential oil reading and recipe is and now how to win one for you!

I am giving away one essential oil reading and recipe  to the one name picked out of the  glass jar. How to get your name into the glass jar? Easy! Two steps

1. Follow this blog.

2. Comment on this post telling us what one scent in the world brings you joy. Is it the scent of a wet forest? Or standing by the ocean breathing in salt air? Do you like the scent of coffee in the morning or do you prefer to hide your face in freshly dried clothing from the clothesline? Let us know what smells make you just downright giddy!

  3. More than anything, the scent of my husband. When he was an active duty Marine and deploying on a regular basis, I would refrain from washing a shirt that he'd worn before leaving and then when I was missing him I would bury my nose deep into the fabric and inhale the scent that is uniquely his.

I think I must have an attachement to the scent of others. My father wore 'Lectric Shave'. Though he is no longer walking this earth I can still bring that fragrance to my mind. Somedays I have a longing to go to the store and sniff a bottle.

And my son recently moved to TX, a far piece from our home in WV. I've yet to strip the sheets off the bed he slept in while he was last here. I want his scent to linger so that when I am missing him I can go take a wiff of those sheets.

  9. OH! I always see these RIGHT after someone wins :(

Well, when I drive near the ocean as soon as I'm close enough to smell it I roll my windows down and take it all in! I always wondered how a smell could have such a profound effect on my whole being, but it does, everything in me just relaxes right then and there. I'm like a new person when I'm near an ocean, it re-awakens my spirit!!! When I actually get in the ocean...well...it's like I'm home!

  10. I'm too late for this give-away, too, but I was challenged by the description to tell about a scent that "makes you downright giddy".... that scent would be: peach gummies. I could absolutely dive right into a bag or bin of peach gummies!
